When you connect your bank or financial accounts through Plaid, certain financial details—such as account balances, transactions, and account numbers—are securely transmitted to us via Plaid’s API to display and manage your financial data in the App. We do not store unencrypted financial account user details on our servers; financial data is handled according to Plaid’s security and privacy practices.

1.3 Usage Data

We may automatically collect information about your device and how you interact with the App, such as IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser type, and usage patterns (e.g., pages or screens viewed, time spent, and clicks). This information helps us analyze trends and improve our Services, to better understand how users interact with the App. We may also use this data to enhance security and performance.

We use Azure cloud hosting to operate our Services, ensuring secure and reliable infrastructure. We do not share your personal information with third-party vendors. However, we do partner with Plaid to securely manage and process financial data. Plaid’s services are governed by their own privacy practices, which you can review in their Privacy Policy.

3.2 Plaid

When you link your bank or financial account, you consent to Plaid’s collection and use of your data as explained in Plaid’s Privacy Policy. Chip In does not directly store or access your financial credentials.

3.3 Legal Compliance & Protection

We may share information if required to comply with applicable laws or respond to lawful requests; to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others; or to defend our legal rights or resolve disputes.

3.4 Business Transfers
